22 Hospitals Have Been Developed Across Egypt in 2022
The Ministry of Health and Population spent EGP 8 billion on upgrading medical facilities last year.

Throughout 2022, the Ministry of Health and Population has established and renovated 22 medical facilities in 12 governorates, including Port Said, Sohag, Suez and Ismailia. The ministry has reportedly dedicated EGP 8 billion to renovate and upgrade 17 hospitals with the latest medical equipment, while newly establishing five hospitals across Egypt.
