'Her World, Her Rules' to Empower Girls to Become Basketball Stars
As part of FIBA's 'Her World, Her Rules' initiative, the Egyptian Basketball Federation will pick 100 girls from each governorate to join their training programmes and games.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports is passing the ball to female basketball players across Egypt with the International Basketball Federation (FIBA)’s initiative, ‘Her World, Her Rules’. Targeted at girls aged six to 15 years old, the initiative was launched in Giza and seeks to encourage girls all over the country to work out, play and compete in the sport.
As part of this initiative, the Egyptian Basketball Federation will pick 100 girls from each governorate to take part in their training programmes and play against one another in order to help stoke a passion for basketball, and give these girls the opportunity to grow up into world class champions.
