President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi Highlights Palestinian Perseverance

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi delivered a speech emphasising the importance of "Palestinian perseverance" in the face of escalating tensions in the Gaza Strip. El-Sisi warned of the potential 'liquidation' of the Palestinian cause and urged Palestinians to remain steadfast on their land.

"Of course, we are sympathetic, but we deal rationally with the issue to achieve peace, the cost of which is not too high," El-Sisi stated. "We did not cause a problem for anyone, but rather … we are hosting nine million guests from many countries who came to Egypt for security, safety and peace," he continued.

El-Sisi acknowledged the unique challenges faced by Palestinians in Gaza, stating that the danger there is particularly grave. He affirmed that the Palestinian cause is a matter of concern for all Arabs and pledged Egypt's utmost efforts to alleviate the burden endured by Palestinians.

El-Sisi assured that Egypt is actively working to contain the escalation, coordinating with Arab allies and striving to resolve "the crisis."
