Students with Disabilities Exempt from Fees at 2 Egyptian Universities
Sohag University and Damanhour University are exempting students with disabilities or special needs from all university fees including tuition, housing and administrative expenses.

Looking to forge equal opportunities for marginalized groups, Sohag University and Damanhour University are exempting students with disabilities or special needs from all university fees including tuition, housing and administrative expenses for the 2021/2022 academic year.
Aside from the monetary exemptions, Sohag University extends its support to these students through an institutional framework meant to accommodate them. This includes training courses organised by the Al Noor Training Centre for Persons with Disabilities which will equip these students with necessary skills and knowledge, tailored to their special needs or disabilities.
Similarly, Damanhour University has confirmed the continuation of all services provided to students with special needs or disabilities in the various faculties, along with a number of activities, opportunities and areas offered to these students.
