18 Charging Stations for Electric Cars Installed in Sharm El Sheikh

As part of Sharm El Sheikh’s transformation into a green city, 18 charging stations for electric vehicles have been installed across the resort town to help serve delegates for the COP27 UN Climate Change Conference this November.
Along with the stations, Sharm El Sheikh has received 110 electric buses that have been locally produced by Manufacturing Commercial Vehicles, as well as a range of services to encourage sustainable travel to and from COP27, including up to 200 electric bicycles and scooters provided by Egyptian startup Rabbit.
