Marine Taxi Project Launched in Jeddah
The service currently connects three key locations: Jeddah Yacht Club, the Jeddah Historical Area, and the Sharm Obhur Area

A new marine taxi project has been launched in Jeddah, aiming to enhance city-wide transportation and attract more tourists. Currently in its trial phase, the service connects three key locations: Jeddah Yacht Club, the Jeddah Historical Area, and the Sharm Obhur Area, with plans to expand along the seafront.
Engineer Yusuf bin Nasser Al-Sayegh, CEO of Jeddah Transportation Company, announced that a digital platform is available for those interested in experiencing the service. Operating daily during Ramadan from 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM, fares range from SAR 25 to SAR 50, while children can ride for free.
The project also prioritizes accessibility, featuring entry and exit points designed for people with disabilities and accommodating up to four wheelchair users. The initial phase includes two boats: one with a capacity of 94 passengers and another that can carry 55.
