Ultra White, a peregrine falcon chick owned by Pacific Northwest Falcons, made headlines at the 2024 International Falcon Breeders Auction in Saudi Arabia, fetching a staggering SAR 400,000 after an initial bid of SAR 100,000. Another chick owned by the same falconry farm named Super White was also sold for SAR 86,000, from an opening price of SAR 40,000, during the bidding.
The event, organised by Saudi Falcons Club, gathered elite falconry farms from 19 countries to showcase champion breeds, attracting falconers, enthusiasts, and producers. Spread over several days, the auction nights were broadcast live on TV and social media, with the club announcing the featured falcons before each session.
