Egyptian comedian Ashraf Abdel Baky is about to take his production of murder mystery comedy ‘The Play That Goes Wrong - Crime in Maadi’ to the stage of Al-Arish’s Cultural Palace from June 19th until June 20th.
The two-act play is an Arabic adaptation of English comedy ‘The Play That Goes Wrong’, and follows the story of a loyal servant who finds his employer’s dead body on a sofa on the night of his engagement. Abdel Baky’s production has been exhibited in cities across the MENA region, including Port Said Port, Al Minya, Assiut and on the North Coast in Egypt, as well as Jeddah and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.
