‘Back to Alexandria’ to Screen at Zawya Cinema on June 5th

As part of its Cairo Cinema Days program, Zawya Cinema will screen ‘Back to Alexandria’ on June 5th. The film screening will take place at 7 PM, and will be followed by a discussion with the film’s director Tamer Ruggli, moderated by director and producer Marianne Khoury.

Starring acclaimed Lebanese actress Nadine Labaki in the lead role, the film follows a daughter’s return to her native Alexandria, where she must deal with the psychological repercussions of seeing her ailing mother, with whom she has a complex relationship.

Tickets for the screening are selling at EGP 100, and are available at the cinema’s box office or online.
