Cairo Festival for Puppet Theater to Take the Stage This October

The Academy of Arts has announced the first Cairo Festival for Puppet Theater, set to take place from October 1st to the 7th at the NS Theater in Giza.

The programme will feature puppet performances, local and international troupes, live music, and a series of lectures and workshops aimed at developing the skills of emerging artists while highlighting puppetry’s cultural value.

Organisers aim to showcase both traditional and contemporary approaches to the craft, offering audiences a mix of classic storytelling and modern stage techniques. The event is intended to inspire new generations of performers while engaging wider audiences in this distinctive art form.
