Classic Egyptian Rom-com 'Hob El Banat' Returns to Zawya Cinema
Starring Laila Elwi, Hanan Turk and Hana Shiha, the film will be screened on February 22nd, February 23rd and February 27th.
Downtown Cairo’s Zawya Cinema is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the iconic rom-com ‘Hob El Banat’, starring Laila Elwi, Hanan Turk and Hana Shiha, with a special screening this week.
The film revolves around three estranged half-sisters whose lives are forever changed after the death of their father. Struggling with grief and anger, the girls find themselves having to live under one roof for a year - as willed by their father - in order to gain their inheritance.
The romantic comedy has garnered mass adoration from Egyptian audiences since its 2004 release. The film was directed by Khaled El Hagar and stars a cast of famous actors including Ashraf Abdel Baqi, Khaled Abou El Nagga, Ahmed Ezz and Sawsan Badr.
The movie will screen at Zawya Cinema on Thursday February 22nd, Friday February 23rd, and Tuesday February 27th at 7 PM sharp. Tickets are priced at EGP 100 and can be booked either on-door, or by visiting Zawya Cinema’s Instagram page and clicking their link in bio.
