MDLBeast’s 'Kokub' Party Brings Otherworldly Techno to AlUla
The bi-weekly event returns to fill AlUla’s organically eroded halls with thumping techno tunes.
The sweeping natural halls of AlUla will once again channel thumping techno tunes on February 9th as they play host to MDLBeast’s bi-weekly ‘Kokub’ party concept, in partnership with Riyadh-based Hazy Festival. With an overtly orbital space theme, Kokub casts the audience's minds into the ether, with a supernova of sound filling the organically eroded halls of AlUla’s gorges.
The lineup of DJs will include KSA-based Alaa Jazaeri and Iraqi-Canadian Mustafa Ismaeel playing alongside special guest Italian DJ Cristina Lazic. Jazaeri was one of many outstanding acts at MDLBeast’s December 2023 Soundstorm Festival, while Ismaeel featured at Riyadh’s recent Groove on the Grass Festival in September 2023. Both Lazic and Ismaeel are signed to Crosstown Rebels, one of the world’s leading electronic music labels constantly discovering new acts from across the world.
