Streaming platform Shahid just announced the release of their biggest production this year: a thriller TV series set near the south borders of Saudi Arabia called Al Dariya.
The series follows Youssef, played by Fayez Bin Jurays, as he struggles between sticking to his morals and honouring his father’s will by smuggling drugs. The small southern village of Al Dariya quickly becomes a battlefield between a drug smuggler, an arms kingpin, a relentless officer and greedy kin – all chasing survival.
The show will premiere on October 31st, starring Jurays alongside Khaled Saqer, Trke Alyousef, Reem Al Habib, Bader Mohsen, Ida Alkusay, Alfahad Bin Bandar, Abdullh Moteb and Aziz Buhais.
