UAE National Orchestra Established to Promote Emirati Culture

The UAE National Orchestra has just been established under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H.H. Abdullah bin Zayed. The orchestra will be overseen by Minister of State H.E. Noura Bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, who will lead the orchestra in its efforts to develop the UAE's music sector, and promote Emirati art and culture to the world.

“Through the UAE National Orchestra, we seek to enhance and promote our local culture and arts, to build bridges of communication with other world cultures, especially since the orchestra will be a source of inspiration and an effective and influential driver in local and global communities, through which we affirm our commitment to supporting creativity and artistic excellence,” H.E. Noura Bint Mohammed Al Kaabi said.

The UAE National Orchestra will soon hold a series of auditions, which are open to musicians from any artistic background as long as they are aged 18 and above. Selected artists will be offered full-time employment opportunities with competitive benefits.

Registrations for the auditions can be submitted through the official UAE National Orchestra website. Musicians must attach a recorded clip of their work. The deadline for submissions falls on January 26th, 2025.
