Zawya Cinema Hosts Q&A With Ayten Amin After 'Souad' Film Screening
Ayten Amin's film 'Souad' is getting its first public screening at Downtown Cairo's Zawya Cinema.

As part of its programme celebrating 20 years of Film Clinic, the acclaimed production house founded by Mohamed Hefzy, Zawya Cinema will screen 'Souad' on September 27th at 7 PM. After the screening, director Amin Ayten will join filmmaker and writer Youssef Hesham for a discussion.
'Souad' follows two teenage girls in Zagazig, one of whom leads a secret life online. The film has been shown at international festivals including Cannes, Tribeca, and Berlin Panorama. It has earned one win for Best Actress at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival, and eight nominations, including a nomination for the Antigone d’Or Best Film at the Montpellier Mediterranean Film Festival.
Tickets are available via the elcinema website, and will also be sold at Zawya’s box office starting September 24th.
