Cercli Secures $4 Million to Enhance Payroll Management Across MENA
Cercli aims to streamline payroll management for businesses in the MENA region.
Cercli, a fintech startup based in Dubai, has secured $4 million in seed funding to tackle payroll management inefficiencies across the Middle East and North Africa region. The seed funding round was led by San Francisco-based Afore Capital, marking the venture capital firm's first investment in the MENA region.
The startup was founded by Akeed Azmi and David Reche, who bring their experience from their previous roles at Careem and Kitopi, two of the largest unicorns in the MENA region, to take advantage of the $2 billion market opportunity of payroll management.
Cercli has developed software aimed at helping businesses in the MENA region to hire, manage, and pay their global workforce efficiently. The platform seeks to unify payroll management and compliance processes, replacing outdated and error-prone methods with a streamlined, tech-driven solution.
