Mazad & General Assembly Bahrain Team Up to Boost Tech Talent
Bahrain’s General Assembly and Mazad are joining forces to link education with industry, with the new deal set to open doors for Bahrainis to gain in-demand digital skills.

General Assembly Bahrain has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mazad B.S.C., detailing a plan to link digital education more closely with industry practice. The deal was made in partnership with Tamkeen, which already supports General Assembly’s training programmes across the Kingdom.
The collaboration builds a bridge between classrooms and high-growth sectors, in line with Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030. For General Assembly’s students, the agreement offers direct exposure to industry needs and career opportunities. For Mazad, it creates a steady pipeline of Bahraini professionals who are trained to respond to shifting demands in the digital economy.
Mazad, best known for its digital auctions platform and marketplace, continues to play a central role in Bahrain’s digital transformation. General Assembly Bahrain, meanwhile, has already trained professionals who have gone on to work in finance, technology, government and startups. Together, the two organisations say they want their partnership to ripple out beyond their own institutions and reshape Bahrain’s wider digital ecosystem.
