PwC Middle East & Microsoft Launch AI Centre in Riyadh
The program, which will run every two months, will recruit top talent by cooperating with leading Saudi universities.
Tech giants PwC Middle East in Saudi Arabia and Microsoft have partnered up to launch the AI Center of Excellence in Riyadh, a centre dedicated to upskilling and scaling the artificial intelligence capabilities of next-generation talent from across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The program, which will run every two months, will recruit top talent by cooperating with leading Saudi universities. These young professionals will be trained in cutting-edge technologies including Azure OpenAI and other open source models and frameworks. The centre will also engage with local and global partners from public and private sectors to maximise knowledge exchange and collaborative learning.
“Our commitment to Saudi Vision 2030 and our future in technology is unwavering. We’re focused on building unparalleled AI engineering capabilities within Saudi Arabia,” Ali Hosseini, Chief Technology Officer of PwC, said during the launch announcement held at LEAP 2024.
Microsoft will provide its resources and expertise to the venture, while PwC will lead the strategic approach and program management.
