1,100 Scouts Assist Worshippers at the Two Holy Mosques During Ramadan
The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association is running service camps to support worshippers and Umrah performers.
More than 1,100 scout leaders and members are assisting worshippers at the Two Holy Mosques during Ramadan through public service camps organised by the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association.
The initiative runs throughout the fasting month, supporting Umrah performers, worshippers and fasting visitors in coordination with the relevant authorities responsible for operations at the Two Holy Mosques.
Scout teams are providing guidance and orientation services, managing crowd movement and offering on-site assistance at designated locations across the mosque complexes. Volunteers are also helping elderly worshippers and people with disabilities navigate facilities and move safely through prayer areas and surrounding courtyards.
According to the association, the deployment follows intensive preparation and training designed to strengthen operational readiness. The camps are managed under a unified organisational framework that brings together different scouting sectors under coordinated operational plans.
