2nd Edition of Camel Cup Gallops Into AlUla Starting April 24th
The event will feature fast-paced camel racing, with grandstand seating and plenty of restaurants.
AlUla’s Camel Cup is returning this April 24th for its second edition, welcoming spectators for three days of high-speed camel racing. With the sport itself serving as a display of Saudi Arabian heritage, set in the historical heartland of AlUla, the event itself will feature grandstand seating and numerous restaurants and food stalls, as well as a qafilah-style retail experience.
There will also be hands-on craft workshops available, as well as live entertainment from musicians and artists, and - if last year’s inaugural event is anything to go by - the people-watching is set to be just as high-level as the camel-watching.
This year, the tournament welcomes the first American camel racing team owned by music producer Swizz Beats, which will be selling NYC street-style merch at their own stall.
