Actor Anthony Hopkins to Debut Musical Performance at Riyadh Season

Renowned British actor and musical composer Anthony Hopkins will present an original musical composition during Riyadh Season, as announced by Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority.

Al-Sheikh shared the news on his “X” platform, accompanied by a video message from Hopkins. In the video, the two-time Academy Award winner, expressed gratitude and stated that he has been preparing a special piece for the event in Riyadh.

This appearance adds to Hopkins’ recent involvement in Saudi cultural initiatives. Earlier this year, he received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Joy Awards in Riyadh, where he reflected on his career and acknowledged Saudi Arabia’s growing role in the arts and entertainment sectors amid a crowd of regional and international stars.

Riyadh Season, now in its fifth edition, is a key part of Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts to expand its entertainment offerings. Hopkins’ performance highlights the festival’s focus on diverse and internationally recognized talent.
