'Ahlan' App Launches Pilot as Digital Fan Identity for AFC Asian Cup

The Local Organising Committee for the Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 launched the 'Ahlan' app in a pilot phase as a digital fan identity for the AFC Asian Cup. Available on iOS and Android, the application provides an integrated digital platform that follows fans from the planning and ticket-purchasing stages through transportation and stadium access, offering a unified experience.

The pilot phase is scheduled to be activated during Round 16 and the final stages of the AFC Champions League Elite 2026, in preparation for full deployment during the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027. The platform is positioned to enhance operational readiness and improve the fan attendance experience during major continental fixtures.

According to the release, 'Ahlan' functions as a single digital identity across the fan journey, connecting pre-event planning with ticket management, mobility to and from venues, and access at stadium gates.
