Asser Yassin Reunites With Director Amr Salama in New Film Shamareekh

Egyptian award-winning filmmaker Amr Salama - known for his daring artistic choices in movies like ‘Bara El Manhag’ (2021), ‘Sheikh Jackson’ (2017) and ‘Lamo’akhza’ (2014) - has just started shooting his latest cinematic adventure. ‘Shamareekh’, an action-drama whose plot we know little about, features a star-studded lineup of Egyptian talent including Asser Yassin, Amina Khalil, Khaled El Sawy, Adam Elsharkawy, and Mostafa Darwish.

Produced by Sea Cinema Productions, ‘Shamareekh’ would be the second time Salama and Yassin work together since Salama’s debut film, ‘Zay El Naharda’(2008).
