International car manufacturing giant Stellantis has announced plans to build an electric vehicle facility in Egypt. The factory will help meet the demand for electric vehicles both locally and abroad. The company has an ambitious expansion plan for their entrance into the Egyptian market by producing low-cost electric vehicles.
In view of the incentives granted to enterprises operating in this industry, the international vehicle manufacturer considers Egypt as one of the most attractive markets in the EV field. Stellantis, which was founded in 2021 after Italian-American Fiat Chrysler Automobiles merged with France’s PSA Group, overlooks a high-end brand portfolio that includes Peugeot, Chrysler, Opel, Citroen, Dodge, Maserati, Jeep, and others.
