Award-Winning Film ‘I Promise You Paradise’ Now Streaming on Shahid

Egyptian director Morad Mostafa’s award-winning drama film, ‘I Promise You Paradise’, is now available for streaming on Shahid.

The 2023 film follows the harrowing journey of a sub-Saharan African migrant in Egypt attempting to smuggle his family out of the country after a violent incident. Without much dialogue, the film uses dramatic and intense scenes to convey the story’s themes.

With a melodic score accompanied by moving stills delivered by award winning cinematographer Mostafa El Kashef, the film draws the audience into the feverish and paced existence of refugee life.

‘I Promise You Paradise’ was the recipient of the Rail d’Or Award at the 76th Cannes Film Festival.
