The contest encourages households to decorate their front façades with lights and design elements reflecting the spirit of Ramadan for a chance to win one of 15 prizes.
Residents in Dubai are being invited to illuminate their homes for Ramadan as the ‘Best Decorated Homes’ competition returns, offering cash prizes of up to AED 100,000.
Now in its second year, the competition is part of the wider ‘Ramadan in Dubai’ initiative led by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office. The contest encourages households to decorate their front façades with lights and design elements reflecting the spirit of Ramadan.
A total of 15 prizes will be awarded. The first-place winner will receive AED 100,000, followed by AED 80,000 for second place, AED 60,000 for third, AED 40,000 for fourth, and AED 20,000 for fifth. Ten additional homes will each receive AED 10,000.
Entries are open to homes located within Dubai only, and participants must submit a creatively filmed video showcasing their decorations. The video must be posted on a public account on Instagram using the hashtag #Dubai_Best_Decorated_Ramadan_Homes_2026 and tagging @branddubai. Submissions close on March 11th, 2026.
The competition is being organised in collaboration with Emarat Al Youm, which will highlight selected homes throughout the campaign period, as residential streets across the city take on a more festive look during the holy month.
