In coordination with the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Alexandria Governorate announced that Borg El Arab International Airport will be officially renamed Alexandria International Airport, effective Thursday, September 4th, 2025.
This update is part of a broader plan to enhance civil aviation services, aiming to elevate passenger experience and reflect Alexandria’s historic and touristic significance on the global travel map.
