Comedian Ahmed Ahmed Will Perform Two Stand-Up Shows in Saudi Arabia
Both shows will feature Sean Fawaz, an American actor and comedian, serving as the opening act.
Egyptian-American stand-up comedian Ahmed Ahmed will be performing two live comedy shows in Saudi Arabia as part of his ‘It Only Takes One of Us’ tour.
Inspired by his television special, which tackles Islamophobia in a humorous light, the performance will be held at Jeddah’s Laugh Store on Friday, November 22nd, and Riyadh’s Comedy Pod on Sunday, November 24th. Both shows will feature Sean Fawaz, an American actor and comedian, serving as the opening act.
Ahmed Ahmed has accomplished numerous milestones over his career, having set foot into the comedy business at 19-years-old, and performing live in various destinations worldwide for nearly three decades. He’s been seen on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’, in Vince Vaughn’s ‘Wild West Comedy Show’, and featured in films like ‘You Don’t Mess with The Zohan’ and ‘Iron Man’.
He’s also made his directional debut with an award-winning documentary, titled ‘Just Like Us’, which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival and got streamed on platforms like Netflix, Starz, Showtime and many others – garnering him enough recognition to be invited to the White House and have dinner with former president Barack Obama.
