Dubai’s Burj Azizi to Become World’s Second Tallest Structure
The tower will be 725 metres tall, overtaking Kuala Lumpur’s Merdeka 118 as the world’s second tallest building.
Azizi Developments, the developers of Dubai’s newly planned skyscraper the Burj Azizi, has revealed the height of their new tower. The Burj Azizi will stand at a height of 725 metres, making it the second tallest building in the world after the Burj Khalifa, which stands at 828 metres.
The Burj Azizi is set to overtake the current second tallest building in the world, Kuala Lumpur’s Merdeka 118, which stands at 679 metres.
Scheduled for completion in 2028 and standing at over 131 stories, sales for the tower will begin in February 2025. Estimated investments in the project currently stand at USD 1.5 million.
The Burj Azizi will feature a seven-star hotel alongside private residences including penthouses and apartments. A number of amenities such as gyms, cinemas, swimming pools and saunas will also be on offer.
