Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority Confirms Free Parking During Eid
Excluding multi-story car parks, all parking will be free until April 11th or 12th, depending on the moon sighting.
All public parking in Dubai - excluding multi-storey car parks - will be free of charge for Eid Al Fitr holidays beginning on Monday April 8th, according to an announcement from Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
Parking tariffs have already been suspended for the entirety of Ramadan between 6 and 8 PM, easing any Iftar parking stresses, but this exemption will now be 24/7, lasting until April 11th or 12th, depending on the sighting of the moon.
The RTA also announced extended operating hours for Dubai Metro during Eid. Red and Green Lines will run from 5 AM to 1 AM on April 6th, 8 AM to 1 AM on April 7th, 5 AM to 1 AM from April 8th to 13th, and 8 AM to midnight on April 14th.
