Egypt breaks Guinness World Record for planting the world’s largest date palm farm in the world.
The farm, which covers an area of 132,137 square kilometres, is located in the New Valley governorate near the Toshka Lakes.
Additionally, Egypt also broke the record for having the world’s largest water intake which can hold up to about 245,000 cubic metres of water.
