Egypt Declares Paid Eid Al-Adha Holiday From June 5th to the 9th
The four-day public holiday will apply to ministries, public bodies, and state-run companies.

The Egyptian Cabinet has declared the Eid Al-Adha holiday to run from Thursday, June 5th, to Monday, June 9th, 2025. The announcement designates this period as an official paid holiday for workers in ministries, government agencies, public authorities, local administrative units, and public sector companies.
While the decree applies to the public sector, private sector companies may follow suit in accordance with Egypt’s labour laws and internal policies.
Further announcements regarding the holiday period may follow from the Ministry of Manpower concerning private sector arrangements.
