Egypt Super Cup to Kick Off in the UAE on October 20th
The tournament will culminate on October 24th with two final matches.
The second edition of the Egypt Super Cup is set to kick off on October 20th in the United Arab Emirates, bringing together four of Egypt's top football clubs. This format, introduced by the Egyptian Football Association in 2023, adds a competitive edge to the prestigious tournament.
The first match will see Pyramids FC face Zamalek at Al-Nahyan Stadium at 16:05 (CLT). Later that evening, at 20:00 (CLT), champions Al Ahly will take on Ceramica Cleopatra at Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium.
The tournament will culminate on October 24th with two final matches. The winners from the first two games will meet in the final at 20:00 (CLT), while the losing teams will compete for third place earlier in the day at Al-Nahyan Stadium.
This year's event builds on the success of the inaugural expanded edition in December, when Al Ahly claimed their 14th Super Cup title by defeating Modern Future. Zamalek, who have won the Super Cup four times, last lifted the trophy in 2020 after a dramatic penalty shootout win over their rivals Al Ahly.
