Find Out How Egypt is Taking Africa to Space

Egypt has set aside USD 10 million to host, build and operate the African Space Agency, a central organisation through which all African nations who are looking to reach for the stars will be able to come together and cooperate.

A temporary building for the African Space Agency has already been completed, with a permanent building scheduled for completion by the end of 2022.

The Egyptian Space Agency has been cooperating extensively with African nations to develop their space programmes, and empower each other to finalise a number of missions. In October, the Egyptian Space Agency joined Kenya and Uganda to launch a research mission on board the International Space Station. Earlier this July, the Egyptian Space Agency teamed up with five African states to launch a satellite that would keep track of climate change, and narrow down points of environmental impact.
