GCC’s First Smart Vehicle Testing Centre Opens in Ras Al Khaimah
The Al Ghurair Vehicle Testing Centre spans 1,400 sqm and is designed to process up to 600 vehicle tests per day.
The GCC’s first fully automated smart vehicle testing centre is now operational in Ras Al Khaimah, introducing a faster and more efficient way to conduct vehicle inspections.
Located in Al Qussaidat, the centre features a ‘Test & Go’ system that reduces self-testing time to just six minutes, half the time of traditional testing methods. Drivers can independently assess their vehicles using advanced smart machines that inspect undercarriages and tyres without human intervention. VIP services are also available for added convenience.
Developed through a partnership between Al Ghurair Motors and the General Resources Authority (GRA), the facility spans 1,400 sqm and is designed to process up to 600 vehicle tests per day. The facility integrates digital control architecture, inspection tracking systems, and international best practices, such as incorporating insights from VTEQ facilities in Spain. Its strategic location in Al Qussaidat ensures easy access for vehicle owners, offering a seamless registration and testing experience.
