The General Authority for Healthcare has launched dedicated digital platforms for its medical tourism initiative, ‘In Egypt We Care’, through its official channels.
The authority said the platforms are intended to present Egypt’s healthcare services to international and regional patients, highlighting integrated treatment options and medical services delivered in line with international standards.
Dr Ahmed El Sobky, Chairman of the General Authority for Healthcare, said the initiative aligns with the state’s direction to leverage advanced healthcare capabilities and position medical tourism as a strategic component of sustainable development.
He noted that the project builds on Egypt’s existing medical infrastructure, modern healthcare facilities, and qualified medical personnel operating according to globally recognised standards.
According to the authority, the platforms are designed to act as a direct communication channel with patients inside and outside Egypt, offering access to information on specialised medical services provided by facilities affiliated with the authority.
The digital interfaces are intended to support patient engagement by outlining available treatments, care pathways, and service options, while facilitating follow-up and continuity of care.
