Grand Mosque Authority Offers Free Luggage Storage to Umrah Pilgrims
Pilgrims can now get access to free four-hour storage for bags near the Grand Mosque by showing permits via the Nusuk app.
The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has announced free luggage storage services for Umrah pilgrims in an effort to improve their experiences.
The new service, located next to Gate 64 to the west and the Makkah Library to the east of the Grand Mosque, enables pilgrims to securely keep their possessions while carrying out Umrah rituals.
Umrah pilgrims must use the Nusuk app to show their permissions in order to access the storage facilities. Bags up to seven kilos in weight can be stored in each device for a maximum of four hours. However, food, medication, valuables, unsecured goods, and forbidden materials are not allowed.
The new development is part of broader plans to extend storage services across all areas surrounding the Grand Mosque, ensuring a more convenient and streamlined experience for visitors.
