Ithra Cultural Days Will Spotlight Spanish Heritage This January
From January 12th to 31st, the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture will celebrate Spanish culture, through art, food, film, craft, performance and more.
Ithra is kicking off 2026 on a productive note with the second edition of their annual festival celebrating culture from around the globe. Ithra Cultural Days. This year, from January 12th to 31st, the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture will celebrate Spanish culture, through art, food, film, craft, performance and more.
For most of January, people in Dhahran can explore photography, fashion and sports exhibitions, daily live performances including flamenco inspired works, and theatre performances that convey the essence of Spanish heritage. A dedicated film program will screen throughout the event, paired with discussions, while talks in the Library and Idea Lab explore architecture, literature and creative practice.
For those who learn by doing, workshops will introduce visitors to Spanish craft and culinary traditions, with a parallel program designed for children and families. Outdoor food activations and market areas hold up a mirror to your newly learned skills, and make for an enjoyable weekend stroll accessible to the general public.
