Luxor Amps Up Security With New Surveillance Camera System

The mayor’s office in Luxor has announced that it will begin installing surveillance cameras all over the city to ensure tourists' and residents’ safety and wellbeing. Currently, surveillance camera cables have been put in place in front of Karnak Temple’s main entrance.

This infrastructure will be extended throughout the Luxor governorate, with 76 surveillance cameras currently being installed in Luxor’s streets and main squares.
