Luxor’s Valley of the Kings Now Offers Self-Service Ticket Machines

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has implemented and activated the operation of self-service ticketing machines in Luxor’s Valley of the Kings.

These machines have been installed to improve the visitor experience by providing a convenient way to acquire tickets and explore the diverse cultural heritage found in museums and archaeological sites across the nation.

The decision aligns with the Egyptian government's larger goals to promote digital transformation and cashless transactions.

This payment system is also being implemented at other archaeological sites and museums in Cairo, including the Giza Pyramids area, the Cairo Citadel, and the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir.
