Madinah Bus Project Activates Ramadan Shuttle Service
Shuttle runs from Sports City Shatha and Al Hadiqa stations to connect residential districts with key destinations.
The Madinah Bus project has activated a shuttle service for Ramadan to facilitate movement between residential neighbourhoods and key destinations across the city during the holy month.
The service operates through three main stations — Sports City, Shatha and Al Hadiqa — forming a network designed to accommodate increased travel during Ramadan peak hours.
The routes are structured to improve connectivity between outlying residential districts and central areas through the designated hubs.
From Sports City station, the shuttle covers districts including Ad Difa, Taybah, Urwah, Al Nakhil and Al Aziziyah. Services operating from Shatha station extend to Al Nuzhah, Al Dar, Al Matar, King Fahd and Al Shafiyah. From Al Hadiqa station, routes serve Al Ahn, Al Khatim, Al Usbah, Al Qaswa and Shuran.
Overseen by the Madinah Region Development Authority, the shuttle network forms part of the project’s operational plan for Ramadan, with services calibrated to manage higher passenger volumes and facilitate smoother movement across the city throughout the month.
