The Dubai Central Laboratory is the region’s first drive-thru laboratory, allowing customers to submit samples for testing and calibration without leaving their vehicles. The service reduces wait times from 10 minutes to just one, using advanced technology to speed up processing.

Designed for government and private sector entities, the drive-thru caters to industries including health, safety, security, aviation, and space. Senior citizens and people of determination also benefit from its accessibility. Equipped with surveillance cameras and privacy-protection technology, the unit ensures secure and rapid processing. An additional service window further enhances convenience.

With an anticipated 30% rise in testing and calibration requests, the unit integrates smart logistics to streamline operations. Located at Dubai Central Laboratory, it operates Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, with a multilingual team ensuring smooth communication.

Drive-thru testing services have gained traction globally, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. While widely used for medical diagnostics, Dubai’s initiative expands the concept into equipment and electromechanical testing, pushing lab services into new territory.
