Ministry of Health Launches App to Streamline Hajj Pilgrims’ Check-Ups
The app is designed to streamline the registration process and facilitate medical check-ups for Hajj pilgrims.
The Ministry of Health and Population in Egypt has launched a new app aimed at improving medical services for pilgrims ahead of the 2024 Hajj season. The app is designed to streamline the registration process and facilitate medical check-ups for pilgrims, ensuring a more efficient and organized experience during the holy journey to Makkah.
The app is linked to a comprehensive database containing essential health information about each pilgrim. This database will help coordinate with various government entities and allow for the secure and accurate verification of medical records. By connecting all relevant health data, the app seeks to avoid unnecessary delays and reduce the administrative burden on both pilgrims and service centers.
To ensure that the app is used effectively, the ministry has already distributed login credentials to the hospitals participating in the program and conducted extensive training for both medical and administrative staff.
