Ministry of Health’s ‘Ramadan Bi Saha’ Initiative Provides Mobile Care
The initiative specifically targets those who have chronic illnesses, particularly diabetes and blood pressure issues.
The Ministry of Health and Population has launched its ‘Ramadan Bi Saha’ initiative for the fourth year in a row, providing mobile healthcare services across the country throughout the holy month. The initiative puts particular emphasis on promoting healthy living, as well as preventing and treating chronic conditions and illnesses, specifically diabetes, kidney, heart, and liver issues, and high or low blood pressure.
For people with these conditions, it is important to be properly informed on the best preparations for fasting, since there can be added hazards for those with underlying health conditions. Advice on fasting, as well as all treatments from the mobile service are provided free of charge, with health centres participating in the initiative open until 9 PM, and hospitals operating until 10 PM.
