National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity Finals Hosted in Riyadh
Finalists will be selected from a pool of over 23,000 competitors.
The annual National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity, a competition centred around youth innovation, will host its Ibdaa finals in Riyadh from February 3rd to February 6th.
The final is open to both middle and high school students. The 68 winners will represent the Kingdom in competitive science and engineering competitions around the world. These winners will be picked from an initial pool of around 23,000 entries. Over 200 research and innovation projects were compiled in total from a pool of more than 22 scientific fields of research.
The annual pre-college competition was initially started in 2006 in South Korea. It has since grown, officially becoming an international competition in 2014.
