New Drone Delivery Locations Announced Across Dubai
The initiative builds on the launch of the Middle East's first drone delivery service at Dubai Silicon Oasis in December 2024.
Dubai’s drone delivery services has expanded with the recent announcement of new locations across the emirate, as part of a broader strategy to reduce traffic congestion and improve convenience for residents. The initiative builds on the launch of the Middle East's first drone delivery service at Dubai Silicon Oasis in December 2024, which initially operated on four routes.
These new locations include Business Bay, Nad El Sheba, Dubai World Trade Centre, Aquaventure Waterpark, Dubai Marina, Dubai Internet City, Al Barsha and Emirates Hills. The selection of these locations followed extensive evaluations and years of testing to determine the most effective sites for drone operations.
Keeta Drone, a subsidiary of the Chinese technology company Meituan, was awarded Dubai’s first drone delivery license in late 2024, making it the first Chinese drone logistics operator to obtain an overseas license.
