Plans for Cairo National University in 6th of October Announced
The plans for the university have been handed to the High Committee of National Universities for final approval.
Cairo University president Dr. Mohamed Al-Khesht announced the university’s plan to open the new Cairo National University in 6th of October City.
The new Cairo National University is designed to compete with leading institutions worldwide in a variety of fields. The university is set to offer 11 fields of study including: sustainable energy engineering, cyber security and networks, medicine and surgery, as well as nano science and technology. In addition, the university announced multiple scholarships offered to Egyptian students on academic and sports-based merit.
The plans for the university - which will cover a space of 290 acres - have been handed to the High Committee of National Universities for final approval.
