Prince Sattam University Enters Times Higher Education's Top 500
Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University jumps 45 places to 16th in THE Arab University Rankings and enters the global top 500.
Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University (PSAU) has recorded its strongest performance to date in the Times Higher Education (THE) rankings, rising 45 places to rank 16th in the 2026 Arab University Rankings, compared with 61st last year.
The university also marked a major milestone globally, climbing 250 places in the THE World University Rankings to enter the world’s top 500 universities for the first time. The upgraded position reflects continued efforts to strengthen academic performance, research output, and international collaboration.
PSAU’s advancement comes amid broader national work to enhance the quality and competitiveness of higher education and increase the sector’s contribution to research, innovation, and skilled workforce development.
