RTA Completes Sheikh Rashid-Al Mina Interchange, Reducing Travel Time
Dubai’s RTA has finished the Al Shindagha Corridor on the Bur Dubai side, easing traffic with a final bridge at Sheikh Rashid and Al Mina.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai has announced the completion of all phases of the Al Shindagha Corridor Development Project on the Bur Dubai side. This infrastructure initiative aims to enhance traffic flow between Al Garhoud Bridge and Infinity Bridge. A significant milestone was achieved with the opening of the fifth and final bridge at the intersection of Sheikh Rashid Road and Al Mina Street.
The Al Shindagha Corridor Improvement Project is a comprehensive development covering 13 kilometers along key routes such as Sheikh Rashid Road, Al Mina Street, Al Khaleej Street, and Cairo Street. The project involves the construction of multiple bridges and the development of 15 intersections, aiming to serve approximately one million residents. The initiative is expected to reduce travel time from 104 minutes to just 16 minutes by 2030, resulting in significant time savings and improved traffic efficiency.
This development is part of Dubai's broader efforts to enhance transportation infrastructure and accommodate the city's growing population and urban expansion.
