Egyptian-American comedian, actor and director Ramy Youssef was nominated for an Emmy for directing an episode four season two of ‘The Bear’ (2022). Titled ‘Honeydew’, episode four follows Marcus (Lionel Boyce) on a trip to Denmark, where he trains under a pastry chef.
‘The Bear’ has broke Emmy records for a comedy series, scoring 23 nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series.
Youssef is known for creating and starring in the hit Hulu series ‘Ramy’, which landed him the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Series Musical or Comedy.
